    I was planning on buying the Acer Aspire 1674WLMi. I was hoping someone has first-hand experience of this notebook. Or, if you have heard of this notebook and know the pros and cons, I hope you would share your knowledge with me. There aren't any true reviews on this notebook online. Your consideration would be truly appreciated. Btw, this is a great forum! Keep it up!

    I have bought an Acer Aspire 1674 a couple of weeks ago.

    On the whole I am extremly pleased with this piece of kit.

    Pros:
    * Very Fast
    * Good/Fast graphics, I have tested The Sims 2 and NFSU 2.
    * Excellent screen resolution (Widescreen 1280 x 800)
    * Lots of features
    * Almost everything

    Cons:
    * Bad battery life (Typically 1 Hour, due to desktop P4)
    * Gets very warm, advise a cooling pad for playing games.
    * 2 fans on the bottom are not allowed to be blocked
    * Keyboard set as US instead of UK so some keys give wrong characters(May not apply to all)


    Thats about all I can think of at the moment, but I'll get back to you if I find anything else worth mentioning.
