    Acer Aspire 1680 USB problem

    Hi!! help please. I have an Acer aspire note book. All of a sudden all the usb ports stoped working after coming out from hibernation. now i cant use any mouse or flash cards. i have tried to reinstall the usb drivers but still no response. the usb driver is geting power but not recognising the device pelase help!!

    Remove ALL instances of USB in the Device Manager ensure you're connected to the net and reboot. Allow Windoze to find the drivers ... that would be my firts step.

    PS Esure you have nothing connected to any USB port when you do this .. mkay :)

    Hey!! thanks i tried it out, but when i reboot the system the net gets disconected so windows is not trying to get the drivers from the net. Even the comp is not showing the option to manualy get the drivres from the net!! any other option left??? thanks a lot )))

    Maybe try reinstall chipset drivers for laptop

    it shound,nt need to connect to net to download the drivers for you usb
