    I have found out that NewEgg.com has refurbished Acer Aspire 1681WLMi laptops for $1199.00. Has anyone ever bought anything refurbished from them before? Is this a good deal?

    You're only saving $125. Why risk buying a refurbished unit when you can get a brand new one for just a tad more?

    I'd recommend getting the brand new unit. Possibly even go with the 4501WLMi. The battery life alone makes up for the price difference IMHO.
