    Acer Aspire 1683WLMi specifications

    Hello,

    I would like to have exactly the specs of the Acer Aspire 1683WLMi.
    I'm living in France, and I would like to buy this notebook.[8D]

    The problem is I cannot have the exact specs. The french website only give the general spec of the 1680 series, and not a lot of detail about the 1683. [V]

    Some said it has 8 cells battery and the Bluetooth, which is what I seek. But it is not for sure, and I need some confirmation on it, especially if the config is not the same for all contries.

    Is anyboby can help me in this quest[?]

    On the paper and with what I saw on some forum, it looks like my dream machine with a correct battery life (4 hours) and the BT.[ :D]

    Well I was looking for the same specs as you Calimero, and Luckily I did find everything on the Acer Aspire 1683WLMi. I was nt sure about the 8 cell battery though, but after I got it I was glad to find that it certainly did have an 8 cell battery and runs for 4 plus hours with minimum brightness. It has bluetooth built in too. But I got mine from the middle east, so if you are trying to get it from europe the specs might change. I not sure though. Check the specs out on my signature.

    I've asked to acer to give me some precision about the 1683 sold in france, and they said that there is no BT, the battery is 8 cells 32W, which surprise me a lot.

    they also said that the video card have a shared memory which is also very strange for an ATI mobility radeon 9700.

    I think i've got an answer from a commercial guy who don't know very well its product.

    Anyway, could give me the number of Watt of your 8 cells battery, because I definitely doubt that an 8 cells is only a 32W battery

    It says nothing about 32 W or anything ... The only thing mentioned is 4400 mahr or somehting and that the make is sanyo and the serial no from which you can figure out if it is a 4 cell or an 8 cell. If it ends with 001 then its an 8 cell batt. If it ends with 002 then its a 4 cell. Cheers.
