    Hi there..
A while ago i bent one of the pins on top of the graphics card in my aspire 1700(laptop)...When i was bending it back out i crossed it with another pin...
there was a decent spark an now its not powering on...not even a 'plugged in' light on the sreen
Iv put the multimetre on the CMOS battery, its all good at 3v...
there is power running thro the board an into the battery at 19v...
Not sure if the battery is putting anything out....
Just wondering now weather to replace the Video Card or the Battery first?..?..
Any ideas would be great, or any knowledge of using a multimetre to diagnose would be grouse...
    cheers
