I got a Acer Aspire 1710 with following problem:

Using a HDD of 80GB and installation XP Home, when getting to the screen to create partitions I see my disk showing only 7MB.
If I even try to install I got a blue screen with error 0x00000050.

Check in the BIOS (v 3A25): HDD of 80GB recognized.

Tried a 2nd time with another 80Gb HDD than the partition creation showed me 2 Disks one with 7MB and a second with 120Gb (knowing only a HDD of 80Gb has been added)

I thought it was a manifacture problem so I put a HDD of 120 GB and again with I want to install Windows partition I see only 7MB harddisk.

Tried with an HDD of 320Gb same isue.
Some can tell me what cause this problem? And how to resolve it?
