    Hi all been nearly a year since i posted anything here, laptop working fine after bios replacement
    have a new problem hope somebody can help with
    the dvd drive on my 1710 is showing an exclamation mark and is not showing up in my comp?,have uninstalled,& installed, still no drive (altho its shown in system)have replaced with another , same problem , windows says the drivers are loaded, but windows cannot access the drive?, ,can boot from the dvd drive so I know its working ,but cannot get rid of the exclamation mark and get windows to see it, (altho as said before in system manager it is shown so windows knows its there ,any body had this problem and found out what to do to fix?
