    Acer Aspire 1800 Please Help!!

    Hi,

    Please could anyone help me out with this problem I have an aspire1800. All 3 lights on the aspire start flashing amber with an intermediate beep and it rapidly increases and shuts down :confused: . This was previously happening either when I have the power cable plugged in or I am running on the battery i left it for some time and charged the battery it now runs with just the battery but if i connect the power cable in all 3 lights begins to flash and the system shutsdown.
    Does anyone have an idea as to what the problem might be and how to resolve this?

    Sorry cannot help you but you might be able to help me. Do you have a copy of the user manual (not service manual) that I might have. Been looking everywhere and am getting desperate.     I think the motherboard might have a problem.You should probably phone Acer and ask them.
