I just got an Acer Aspire 2025, and I have taken pictures and written a full review of it that can be found here:
    http://www.weagel.com/sitebuilder/preview/as2025wlmi.html

The review contains tons of photos, benchmarks, and an analysis of many of its features.

( By the way it, it is also known as the AS2025WLMI or Aspire 2025wlmi )

    Hope you enjoy!

This notebook basically has everyting I am looking for but I have one question.

Can the screen resolution be increased beyond 1280 x 800?

    Thanks for your reply.

Unless there's an option to get an higher res LCD, there's no way to increase the resolution above its native resolution.

You can change the "software" resolution to something higher in XP, but it's just a virtual resolution. You're desktop will be off the page, so you'll have to scroll up/down/left/right to get to the other side. So, that's generally an interpolated resolution.

Thats what I thought..the resolution is limited by the hardware. Too bad as the 9700 can do much more.

    Thanks!

The 2025 is part of the 2020 series. There's only one model in this series. So yes, it's the same.

Price reductions, you might try waiting for back to school sales or for the holiday season. I'm sure someone's bound to have a sale.
