    This is a great laptop, but there is one problem. The battery life is soooo bad. It says that it gives you about an hour when fully charged. But it doesnt even last that long. It goes so quick it seems like its 30min. Does anyone know where to get a new and longer lasting one??

    i believe you can order them from acer, it will be quite expensive though. It sounds like you have one of the crappy 4 cell ones, the 1-hour time is only in ideal conditions like cpu speed at lowest setting with the backlight dim etc.

    I would be wary of buying a battery from somewhere like ebay though.
    If you get one try to get the 8 cell model as its far superior
