Just first want to say that I really enjoy the NBR forums and have used them many times as a guest to troubleshoot laptop problems for work. However, now I have an issue with my own personal laptop. It is an Acer Aspire 3002LCI (Acer 3000 series).
Lately the laptop has been acting up and I have to wiggle the adapter in order for the laptop to begin charging the battery. A quick google about the problem, and I now know that the DC power jack is a common problem in these particular models. I have purchased the required part, however I want to make sure that I disassemble the machine correctly. I noticed that ATG has helped several members with their Acers, and I was wondering if ATG or any other member could help me with my situation? Would anyone have the Acer Aspire 3000/3500/5000 service manual? Im sure it would give me all the information I need for disassembly and assembly.
Thank you in advance!
