Change boot order in BIOS, not in e-recovery. If it won't help mage sure that your recovery DVDs are readable (i.e. by copying their contents on another computer). Also make sure that your CD/DVD drive works properly with other CDs.

Another possible solutions include- using a borrowed retail Windows CD with the product key from the stocker on your notebook or using Disk-to-Disk recovery (make sure it's on in BIOS and then try ALT+F10 at boot)

Also, I just want to add, on my model, you have to enable boot meny from BIOS to be able to boot.. Just make sure it is enabled :)
