Can this laptop be undervolted/clocked and/or use other powersaving methods?

If so then how long can you extend the 1hour battery to under normal useage?

I'm having a hard time deciding between this and the Acer Aspire 3613WLMi - LX.A7405.065 (i'll add another 256mb of ram)

They're both similarly priced (in the uk), the Aspire 3613 stating 2 hours of battery life (tho i dont know if even this is true!). Are the battery hours listed on the Acer site true for all, because the 3003 is not 1.5 hours as stated but instead 45mins-1hour, then will the 3613 be less than the 2.1 hours stated?.

Aspire 3613 has 20gb less hd as well however it has crystalbrite (the aspirte 3003 i'll be buying is the non-crystalbrite version)

Can someone let me know about the undervolting thing and tell me whether you think the 3613 is a better choice.

    Thanks
