Hey man how did you deal with drivers and special features, etc? I did the same thing you did with my 3002LCi and some things aren't working even after I installed the drivers I downloaded from Acer's support page.

Hi, 1st Im not a Man, lol. I used the drivers from my recover CD (1st CD out of 4) has all drivers needed. I created them when i 1st loaded my computer. I went into the device manager and loaded whatever drivers i needed, after installing windows xp pro, searched to find from CD. Also it was partitioned into 3 "C and D" Then there was a small partition about 8 mb, i did not delete that, as it may have some drivers as well for acer. I have no problems with mine. Everything works.

For Acer normally the drivers will be included when you reinstall from the Recovery CDs, and for the 8mb partition, it is safe to remove it.

It is the recovery partition. Contains a copy of the factory settings. Not really needed if you going to install your own OS. Also I think it is the same as those contained in the recovery CD's.
