    Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone could help, I have an Acer Aspire 3610 and I recently formatted the portioned D: drive as I had Linux installed on it ( i know, bad move!), when I tried to reboot, Linux had installed a grub boot loader and was failing to boot so I reinstalled the MBR using a DOS boot cd. I can now access windows fine but when I run the Acer erecovery, the system reboots but doesn’t do anything, just goes straight back into windows. It should restart in Symantec Ghost and start reformatting. The hidden partion "PQSERVICE" is fully intact and hasn't been touched, i have also reloaded eManger so it's not the eRecovery utility. I'm thinking it could be the fact that i've overwritten the Acer MBR with a new one but i'm not sure. Also alt/f10 doesn't work and there's no D2D in the boot set up.

    Can anyone help!!!!

    Many Thanks

    Alex
