    HI,
Im having a problem with the mouse recently. The left click button no longer works when I click on something. Instead, whenever I press it, it scrolls down the page. It's unbelievably annoying, and I cannot do anything about it. Could somebody please help me out with this?

Mouse or Touchpad? If it's an external mouse, just get a new one. They eventually go bad. If it's a touchpad issue, first look into reinstalling the drivers.

oh - could it be that something wet went into the frame of the touchpad? With my old Dell i had a similar problem. I used the touchpad with a wet finger and it get between the lower frame and the left button worked as a scroll down. So - try to clean the touchpad - I hope that helps.
