I have an Acer Aspire. I was on it lastnight and no problems but when I got up this morning It wouldnt work! AT ALL! I recharged the battery thinking that might be what was wrong but it didnt work, So I found a reset button and hit that but nothing still. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causeing this or how to fix it? I need help BADLY! Thanks

An unbelievable story , but I am scared to hear this kinda horro stories of Acer lappies since I bought one last month, and now thinking of selling it to get an HP DV2700T.

So please tell me the detail of your horror story.

I need to decide very soon either sell mine to my friend or just keep it.

I have also noticed that my Aspire 4920G gets very very hot , scary hot, while my Toshiba Satellite M200-P535(T7500 and ATI 2400HT) and Dell(old inspiron from LA) never get hot ,does your Aspire get hot, I mean very hot too?

Ok lets not get all nuts here....

When you press the power button, does anything happen (i.e. lights flash then go off)?

Have you tried taking out the battery, unplugging the laptop from the AC adapter and leaving it for a few minutes?

When you plug the AC Adapter in, does the "charging' light come on the laptop?

I wouldnt jump to conclusions and start bashing Acer just yet... check to make sure its receiving a charge. Make sure the AC cord that goes to your outlet in the wall is receiving power and its pushed into the inverter part of the adapter and the little green light is on.
