Hi all,
First time in this forum and first time trying to use Bluetooth.
I have an Nokia Mobile phone which I am trying to connect to the Acer 4220.
The Blue tooth connectivity on the phone is ON but I am problems trying to find it on the Acer notebook. I get the following error message "No Bluetooth device was detected. Please make sure that your Bluetooth device os plugged in properly inorder to continue installation"![]()
What am I doiong wrong ?
Thank you.

Could be you dont actually have blue tooth, just the button for it,it might be a option your laptop didnt come with.

Thanks Razorjack. How can check to see if I do have Bluetooth ?
-
I would look in device manager and see if it is listed under network adapters,if it not listed anywhere in there then i doubt you have BT.
By the way i also have a BT button that when pressed it says no device on screen and i read in my manual that this was a option not all models have them . -
No, it is not listed under Network Adapters and my BT button does not do anything. So, I guess I do not have BT.
Thank for your help.
