I just bought the Acer Aspire 4520 yesterday, it came installed with Vista Home edition, I did not like it and wanted to Put Windows XP Pro X64 on it. It installed fine but I had no drivers for my video or sound, I tried searching for drivers with no luck, seems there was only drivers for the 32bit XP. So I went out and got a copy of Vista Ultimate x64, Now mind me I am new to all this, but i have installed XP and other operating systems before, but this Vista baffles me, I now have Vista Ultimate installed but without the ethernet drivers or wireless lan drivers, I can't figure out what I did wrong cause the acer site said vista x64 drivers, and that is what i downloaded, could it be that I'm installing it wrong? I wish the files came with a self installing exe. Can someone please point me to a site where I can get the lan and wireless lan drivers for my aspire 4520, this is getting very frustrating. Vista is not user friendly at all.

I downloaded the drivers from Acer's site and it came with an exe for installing.

Did you get these drivers, Broadcom Wireless v4.102.28.4 BCM4328 4311 70424?
