Hello, to start off I've always had laptop cooling issues, pretty much after the first year I got this laptop. I fixed this problem with spending about 30$ every six months, on a cooling pad (the targus mat, the wire that runs the cooler into the usb kept breaking down). After buying the targus mats a few times, I decided to buy something different. From then onward I bought one Antec Aluminum cooling pad. This lasted about a year, or six months, but finally the same problem, the wire that connects the cooler to the usb has finally broken down. Now, without this cooler, or a cooler in general, my laptop overheats and eventually shuts itself down, which is pretty bad and cannot be good for my computer. I will probably the end of this year, get a built in cooling system, or another laptop in general, but for now I need a method to cool this laptop down so I can use it safely. I need help, can anyone give me a hand? Much appreciated.

I mean I have all of the stock parts, and didn't change anything if anyone wants the specs I'll happily give them but it's so hot here I can barely use this laptop for anything.

What you might want to try is getting some canned air and using it on your vents to clean out any dust. At this point a better option would probably be to take your laptop apart and clean the fan and vents out. You should be able to find a guide on how to do this somewhere on the internet, or on this website.
