    Good day,

I've been searching on ways to recover my Acer Aspire 4750G after having a bad flash. I've tried different methods of recovery like this one from .NetRolller 3D that can be found here:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/568777-insyde-bios-3.html
and a lot of crisis recovery methods I found on the net.
However, after two weeks of research and trial and error, everything failed me. I hope some users like me that was able to recover their laptop enlighten me.

By the way here's the official BIOS I used to flash my laptop
    http://global-download.acer.com/GDF...ep3=ASPIRE 4750G&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_7

I hope someone could help me.

Unfortunately this is not really an Insyde BIOS, but rather Phoenix SecureCore Tiano (another EFI implementation based on Intel's EFI Development Kit). Unfortunately, it uses a different recovery method than Insyde; requiring a "secure update capsule" for recovery flashing, which Acer doesn't release.

Call Acer support and ask for a BIOS recovery capsule for the 4750G.

Thanks NetRoller, I already emailed Acer Support before posting here. I hope I get a positive response.
