    Hello everybody,
I will admit that I've already had laptop by any major laptop producer but Acer. And I think it's time I'll give it a chance - in fact for many years I've been observing the great progress that this brand has been making.
Now I hope you'll make my choice easier. Let me first tell you what i need:
    - a light computer, a reliable computer (the sturdier the build, the better),a cool computer (hate any type of noise, work in quiet environments..the less the fan kicks in, the better), prefer rather non-glossy screen. I play no GAMES, use it only for business purposes (word, surfing) + TRAVEL a lot (take the computer with me almost each day) + Movie watching (DVD+netflix)

Now which is the better option between 4810 and 8471?
Seems that both of them would meet my demands but 4810 is way cheaper(by 2000-300USD); on the other hand I wonder whether 8471 has not a better overall build?

I'd also like to ask you(no matter which of the two you want to comment on):
    1. what is your experience with the keyboards on these computers?
    2. how about heat/noise issues? Do these computers really run so cool as it's claimed?
    3. Which has a better screen and is is true that Acer's screen quality is above the average?
    4. Anything I should be aware of when buying these?
    5. Last but not least, are there any shops or good deals I should look into when buying Acer computers? (thus far it seems that Amazon offers the best price for 4810 at 650USD).

    Thanks.

I think I am now leaning, quite firmly, towards 8471. Still is there anyone who could give me some feedback on this?
