I have an Acer 4810TZ that is unable to boot. Basically what will happen is I will put in the battery and plug in the power adapter and immediately the white power LED (on the power button) will start blinking. Then if I press that power button, the fan starts running full speed, I hear the DVD drive and HD drive spin up a bit and then nothing happens. No Acer logo screen, no beeps, nothing shows up on screen, just the fan keeps running at full speed and the Power LED continues blinking. I can get the fan to stop running if I hold down the power button for a 3 seconds, but it continues to blink (white color).
The laptop was working as of yesterday, and now it just has a blinking power LED with no booting. I've tried powering on with the battery only, with the adapter only, and with both with no success. I've tried powering up with FN+Esc. I've tried holding the power button for 20 seconds without the battery or adapter. Nothing I've tried has fixed it so far.
My guess is that this is likely a dead motherboard and I should call Acer about it since the laptop is still in warranty. What else could I try to fix this?

call acer then ask them to replace the motherboard.....
