I have problems with my headset not being functional with my laptop. What should I do?
-
Please help me.

Check the jack of the laptop with speakers or other headset that it's function. Check you have the headset connected to the right jack(it happens).

Thank you so much for this info, Sir. I have checked it, Sir. I plugged in the pink and the green jacks of the laptop respectively, the headset seems functional with the other pc as well. Do I have to check the sound settings in the control panel, Sir?

What's with all the "Sir"?
You checked the headset with other pc, that's ok but have you checked if the jack on your laptop is functioning? I don't think this is Windows fault unless you have some of the volume control(master, wave) muted? Check that too.. -
I see, yeah, I forgot about the functionality of the laptop jacks, I guess I'll have it checked by the technician at the store where I bought this laptop=)A million thanks for your time and tips, by the way.
