    Acer Aspire 4935G
    Fully-Unlock Insyde BIOS Request

    May I request to unlock the said BIOS into fully functional firmware that shows ALL possible available MENU and OPTION for this type of system model.
    For example: I'm looking for the Advance, Power, Diagnostic, and System Configuration Menu.
    And also the option to enable or disable the Hardware-Assisted Virtualization / Intel VT / Virtualization Technology.

    Similar to the following screen-shots: (credit to uploader: SaltSachet)
    Advanced
    Power
    Diagnostic
    System Configuration

    * Manufacturer: Acer
    * Model : Aspire 4935G
    * Bios Type : InsydeH20 Rev.3.5
    * Bios Version : V1.08
    * Bios Link : Download Here
    * RW-Everything Report : AcpiTbls.rw

    Thank you for the assistance!

    AFAIK there are no whitelists in any Acer notebook. That antifeature is exclusive to HP and IBM/Lenovo.

    Unlocked everything I could do. The options that are still locked are "PCI Slot3 IRQ Priority" and "PCI Slot4 IRQ Priority" - hardly necessary, and possibly nonfunctional.

    The Advanced menu is called "Master", and Power is called "Slave", because I think the BIOS hardcodedly hides any menu called "Advanced" or "Power".

    Again, no whitelist removal has been done, as there is no whitelist to remove.

    BTW, I forgot to ask this:

    How do I flash my BIOS using your mod?
    Download @ request download ticket | ifile.it

    Can I rename the file KAL90108_Unlock.fd > KAL90108.fd and use the either of the following (Acer Default):

    Acer Original FLASH IT.exe ( DOS version) with this parameters: flash it KAL90108.fd /fe /b /dc
    or
    Acer Original InsydeFlash ( windows version)

    I suggest you to flash BIOSes from DOS: it's a more reliable method than flashing from Windows! ;)

    @iJo09: Not with InsydeH2O, which is an EFI and runs natively in protected mode. (Actually, the safest way to flash an EFI is from the EFI shell, but not all EFIs support flashing from the shell.)

    @.NetRolller 3D

    I flashed your mod. but when it boot, the LCD screen is blank. no LED backlight on LCD, nothing on display, the fan spins, power button and the indicator have lights. the bios did not boot and stuck on blank screen. :eek:

    Since you didn't response on my question, I tried both Windows and DOS, using the Acer Insyde Flash Tool (flash it & insydeflash), and both give me same result. :confused:

    both method finished completely and rebooted automatically.

    Gladly I'm already prepared and know how to recover from bad flashed and didn't bricked my laptop.. hehehe :D

    Any idea? suggestion?

    I flashed your modded bios and I can now see the BIOS. Thank you!
    The only change is the Master Menu (a.k.a Advanced Menu) and you managed to unhidden it.

    Unfortunately, this is not what I expected. I provided a screenshot for you.

    I'm getting hopeless that my bios cant be unlock the hidden menu even use the virtualization technology.

    Here we go.

    Information menu should be gone, replaced with "Slave" (actually Power). Contents of Information menu available in Main.
