    Acer Aspire 5 (A515-51) Clean Install? Whats In the Box?

    I'm waiting for the computer to arrive and want to know if a copy of Win10 Home will come with it.
    Is there any restore media or is it in a recovery partition? (no optical drive)

    I really just want to clean out the bloat.
    What are my options?

    I would suggest you to create your own recovery media and back up the whole disk image to an external HDD with Macrium Reflect free or similar utility, try not to uninstall Acer Care centre and Acer Quick Access programs but you don't have to use them.

    I have one more for you guys. When these computers come with a 256SSD and a 1TB HDD how is it configured? OS on the SSD and storage on the HDD? How do they ship them setup?

    Most probably the OS will be in the SSD.
