    ok, so i own one of these laptop's and i love it, however i am looking into playing a game that requires a 64 MB Shader capable 3D card and i am wondering if this computer has what im looking for. i have searched a few places, however i am not very intellegent when it comes to computers, therefore i was hoping someone could give me my answer on this

    Hey Travis, welcome to the forums!
    It appears that the Aspire 5040 is equipped with an ATi Radeon Express 200M integrated graphics processor.
    This means that it does not have any dedicated video memory of its own, but uses up to 128MB of the RAM in your system.
    According to AMD's website (which owns ATi), the 200M has support for Shader Model 2.0 and DirectX 9.0.
