Please let me know the difference between this model and the other model of 5102.
Aspire 5102AWLMi
AMD Turion 64 mobile technology MK-38 (2.2 GHz, 512kb L2 cache)
15.4" WXGA Acer CrystalBrite LCD(16ms)
Up to 384MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 HyperMemory
120 GB HDD
DVD-Super Multi double layer(Support DVR+/- Double Layer/DVR+/-RW)
1GB DDR2
802.11B/G WIRELESS LAN
OS - Window Vista Home Premium
-
2)Your 5102AWLMI uses the Radeon X1300 which is a dedicated GPU but the ordinary 5102 uses the Xpress 1100 which is integrated graphics, so your GPU is better here.
3) Some 5102s have a webcam and built in bluetooth but not all of them have this option.
Other than those 3 differences you pretty much have the same 5102 that other people have except some have 512mb or 2Gb of ram and you will also find some with only 100Gb hard drives. By the way wireless LAN and DVD-Super multi double layer drives are pretty much standard equipment on all notebooks these days. As you can see Acer has a great amount of variation on the 5100 series notebooks.
You can see my signature to see what my 5102 comes with... -
