    hi
    i want to know why am i not able to monitor cpu fan speed, voltage etc
    i am using everest ultimate
    can anyone tell me how i can monitor cpu fan speed, voltage
    and do i need to update bios i haven't i bout my pc when it was released.

    You can monitor the voltage of your turion using any program like CPU-z or RMclock or notebook hardware control(NHC).

    As for monitoring CPU fan speed it is not possible with your model. Most current acer BIOS do not allow the reading(of fan speed) or control of the CPU fan. Even my old travelmate that is 4+years old now couldn't do it.

    The latest BIOS available for your model is the same BIOS as that used in the aspire 3100 and 5100 and the current version is 3.10, however updating to this will not give you any CPU fan control.

    okey but i can't see voltage with everest. but cpuz shows cpu voltage but not everest. and one more question i have a ati 3870 and i got som applications from asus , asus smart doctor and i that program u shold be able to se gpu voltage but i can't see on my pc but i have seen som screenshots on goggle and in those pictures they are showing voltage , can any one explaine why i am not able to see.

    one more question is it possible to overclock the gpu and the cpu on acer aspire 5112
