My four month old Acer Aspire has decided to stop working.

I think it may be the DC connector but it is normally loose.
I tried removing the battery and AC, holding down power for 30sec and ...

This is not distressing me, just annoying me as it contains my anime library, all my programming projects, school work from 08, essays, books, and stuff like that.

I fear it may need a MOBO replacement. But I am unsure how much that will cost.

At the moment I am in the process of obtaining a copy o the reciept from the Vendor, as mine was mis placed.

But the thing is when I went to sleep the other night it was fine, charging and WORKING. I wake up this morning and see that it is no longer powered, or powering.

    Any help appreciated.

Is it still in waranty, if it is a new motherboard needed, and it's still in warranty, acer should cover the cost.

I do have a one month warranty, I just need to find the reciept or hope that Office works will send me a copy or something.
