Hi to everyone, unfortunately I lost all the CDs provided with my laptop and I need to reinstall Windows Vista.
Also, I have deleted all my partitions due to the fact that some time ago I installed Linux...
does anyone have an idea if I can ask Acer for another CD?
It's a shame to go and buy a new copy of Windows when I have the license and Microsoft code sticker under my laptop.
My laptop is still under warranty

I had this happen with an HP laptop of mine.

I called them up, provided serial information on the unit, and they sent me a new copy of the disks.

It shouldn't be a problem, as far as I know. You just may have to pay for them. Depends on what Acer's policy is on the matter.
