I've got, as the title says, a charge problem with an Aspire 5315 ICL50. A few months ago, my girlfriend stared having troubles with her laptop failing to read the adapter, recharge, etc. We took it up to a Smart Guys Computer and the gentleman there did a little power adapter test and said that there was a good possibility the DC jack was screwed up. So, taking that into consideration, I found another store that ordered a jack for me--for a different model, although the pin size and diameter of the jack fits the adapter--and I went about soldering the wires into place and putting the laptop together, double checking everything as I went along to make sure it was all back into place.

Now, before I attempt yet another hour long task of opening it back up and obliviously searching for a solution to an unknown problem, is there anything that comes to the mind of anyone, as a possibility? I was thinking the motherboard connector, itself, as the jack has wires coming off the tail-end of it. Aside from that, I've really no idea.
