Hi every one, I´m new here, so after googling for a long time, i decided to to post my problem.
I have an acer aspire 5315-2529 with Celeron 2.0ghz and 2gb ram, running windows 7 ultimate.
I decided to upgrade the bios cause i was tired to see how turned off all the time because of the temperature ( after 2 or 3 hours the temperature was close 100ºC).
I downloaded the latest bios from Acer´s home page, and for my laptop model.
Closed all programs includding Norton Endpoint Antivirus, and started to flashing the bios under windows.
I opened the file as administrator and I received an error.
I tryied to turn off pushing the power button for 2 minutes and nothing. The keyboard wasn´t working and the mouse too.
I decided to leave the battery and Ac adapter.
    The notebook obiously turned off.
I reconnect Ac adapter and Battery, but the laptop do NOTHING.
No lights, no leds blinking, no nothing.
I made a bootable CD with the bios and pressing Fn + Esc buttoms, I made usb flashdrive as bootable with bios file, I did every methood as u can imagine...... I feel tired and I´m losing the faith with that.
    SUGGESTIONS?
Looks like motherboard is dead or what?..... I tried others rams modules, hard disk, with battery, without battery, without hard disk , without cpu...... I insist... I´m feeling tired.
    Thanks for read.
    Osvaldo

    What was the error message?

Get the service manual and take a look for the hotkeys for the bios recovery. Old Acers need really a USB Floppy Disk drive.

    Edit: Right Bios file?
