Howdy, folks
I'm looking into buying an Acer Aspire laptop (either a 5520 or a 5920) and I have a question about memory upgrades, and in particular about memory card slots. The laptops I'm looking at come with 2GB of memory and are expandable to a max of 4GB. My question is this: does the 2GB of preinstalled memory typically come in one 2GB module or are there usually two 1GB modules installed into two different slots?
The reason I ask is because if I try to upgrade to 4GB later, I would like to know if I'll have to by one extra 2GB module or if I'll have to get two. Is there anyone here that owns an Aspire 55** laptop, and if so, have you ever tried to upgrade the memory?
Thanks!

Most likely than not, they will come in a 2x1gb pairing just for the benefits of dual channel. So unless it specifically says "2gbx1" in the specs, then it's going to be a pair of 1gb sticks.
