I've been looking for a new laptop for awhile now... i'm pretty settled on going with a Sager 5320 or a Asus Z70Va... but I was looking at the Acer web site and saw this Acer Aspire 5510 and it seems pretty impressive, but it is not for sale in the US... or at least yet. Wonder if any of you have any thoughts about it. Its a 15.4" wide screen, has crystalbrite and has the ati x700 up to 265mb...

i am also considering to buy 5510 sometime later. however i am attracted to the slot loading dvd function adn the tv tuner integrated. can anyone tell me how reliable is the tv tuner(for those using this latop) or is it better to buy the usb tv tuner?

Why don't you look at the new AS5672? CompUSA has it. Why not go with a duo core machine that's priced at $1500?

After reading the thread about Acer quality, you're probably better off with the Asus or Sager.
