So I bought the Walmart special and am actually happy with it. I didn't have much money to spend and after removing all the crapplications, installing AVG etc... it's running well. If I had XP to install I would have done it from the start but I'll live. I'm even managing to run WoW with no issues after tweaking in game specs and playing in the Catalyst Control Center.
Now...my problem. I uninstalled all the Acer utilities and now eRecovery will not work for me. I'd like to back up the OS and drivers so if need be I can restore to factory or at least close. Can I do this with NTI Backup Now? or will that just back up folders and files? If not what can I use to make restore discs.
Thanks in advance for any help!

"Old NAPP version, eRecovery can not be installed on this machine."

D'oh that's too bad. And I'm unable to find a newer XP version of the eUtilities sorry. I doubt that another recovery will work unless you use some software to backup the whole partition..

I'm looking into Macrium Reflect Free...anyone ever use it?
Thanks so much for you help btw! -
Ok so pqservice is the partition I need to mirror to disc if I want to restore factory defaults correct?
