    Acer Aspire 5552 Mods

    I have been tinkering with the Embedded Controller values on my Acer 5552 in an attempt to find the fan control values. So far I have discovered these:

    Code: 
    Register

Brightness = 0-9 Value
0xB9 

Wi-Fi Control = 44(off), 46(off), 05(off), 07(on)
0xBB 

Trackpad = 00(on), 08(off)
0x9E 

Constantly Changing Values (fan?)
0xDA = 01 to 0A
0xDB = 00 to 0F
0xDC = 00 to 4C

Unknown
0xD6 = 9C or 9B

0xF1 = 00 or 01

0xAB = 08 or 09


Battery Status

0xD0 00 When AC Connected. Variates without AC
0xD1 Same as above.
    I have attached the DSDT Dump and ACPI Tables if anyone would like to look to modify or define some of the EC values. I will be back with more tinkering info when I do more research.
