Is it possible to access and run the Recovery program which is installed on the HDD. without the Acer progam

    The reason for this is
Ran recover System files, which did not finish, due to hardware conflict.
Tried full recovery from DVD unfortunately this failed due to a corrupt or missing file. So now have no Acer program to access the above.

    Any help appreciated

Did you use the Alt+F10 recovery when the laptop firsts start up when you first tried to recover the machine.

If you didn't, when the machine starts up, press ALT+F10 which hopefully should be able to recover the machine directly from the recovery partition.

    Hi thanks for your response.
Initially did not work, however came across the following on the internet,
When the Acer logo is displayed, press and hold the ALT key while pressing repeatedly the F10 key. Release the keys when a message displays that Windows is loading files.

    Thank
