    Hey all,

I recently bought a new battery for my 3.5 yr old Acer Aspire 5560 to replace my dead one. I have an issue though, the battery won't charge past 37%. It keeps saying plugged in, not charging. I've googled the issue, and I've tried multiple fixes, including hard resets and disabling microsoft battery manager stuff in device manager, but none of it seems to work. Could it be a problem with my computer itself? I guess it could be the new battery. I bought it off amazon, and the reviews seemed good, but it was very cheap. Where do you guys get batteries from.

Anyway, is there a way to fix this that I haven't tried yet?

It's not a huge deal since I will be upgrading in either the fall or winter when skylake laptops start to roll out, but it is terribly inconvenient being tethered to an outlet all the time.

    thanks for any help.
