    RAM: 512MB DDR2.

    Hi Hawk,
You can upgrade your memory to 4GB without any problem(you can check with crucial.com), you mentioned not socketed, can you make it clear that for me please. Can you open up and look at the RAM bay, if you see the numbers similar to MB.AZL 06 or MB.TDX06, you can upgrade to C2D upto T7600.

I think, that non socketed means that my bios is soldered to my motherboard.
In addition, I looked at my RAM bay and there was no MB.AZL 06 or MB.TDX06, is it some type of part number? I' am pretty sure you are referring to my motherboard right?

Yes,it's the motherboard number, may be a different number, it will be on a sticker near the RAM bay. You can open and remove the heatsink and see whether it's soldered or not. If it looks like in the picture with a screw, it's socketed. If it's soldered, you cannot change the cpu.

I' ll will open up my laptop in the next week or so, to be sure if it's soldered or not and I will get back to you, in the meantime here's a pic of my Intel Solo T1350. Intel Core Solo T1350 LF80538GE0362M (BX80538T1350) , what do you think from the picture socketed or soldered?

Just click the picture tab on the top left.

I think yours is socketed, from your picture and the details it seems that you can just drop in another socket M proc.
    Package- 478-Pin FC-PGA
If it's soldered, it would have read FC-BGA and also from the picture there's a small yellow triangle on the bottom left corner, it must be aligned with another triangle where you drop the cpu.

EDIT: Please make sure that your motherboard chipset is i943 or i945, if it's i940 you can not upgrade to dual core.

Thanks for all the info on my CPU, really appreciate it. Also I wanted to know about my Graphics card is it changeable? Here's some info on it:
    Bus type: PCI-Express
    Converter: Integrated RAMDAC
Connector Type: VGA - (Place: Socketed).
I don't know if any of that info helped, but if it did, then is it changeable?

Ok, so I have opened up my laptop and I've tried removing the video card, processor, and RAM. All of that took some time but I removed all of them, which is good, however I now wonder for how much would this laptop sell for?
