    Hi guys and girls.

To start with, I would like to say sorry for my English^^.
Since the summer 2007 my laptop, a Acer Aspire 5610z, have not worked, because the motherboard/mainboard is short-circutted. The firm wants about 807,07 US Dollars/4500 DKK. I have thought about it, and I said "No, thank you", because I think that I can do it cheaper by buying the motherboard/mainboard, and get a computer geek to make my computer work again.
But my questions is... what motherboard/mainboard is there in the computer? is it, hopefully, cheaper to buy the motherboard/mainbord and get a computer-geek to repair it? And can I buy the motherboard/mainboard somewhere inside of EU?

I hope someone can help me

    Best regards,
    Kent

I have looking at these to motherboards, and I am not the biggest computer-geek, so I am not sure if they are compatible with my laptop. I only know that my computer have a Nvidia Geforce 7300 graphiccard, 2 gb ram and I am not sure about the CPU.
I can see that they are sending to Denmark. It would only cost about 1/4 of the price, that I have got from Acer Denmark. Some people have told me that Acer maybe or probably have doing something, so only Acer can repair my laptop. Is that true?
