    Hi all.

I am new here, i would really appreciate any help on this matter.

I had to format my laptop the other day as it was going very slow and jittery. I have formatted it in the past with no problems.

However, this time, the graphics dont seem to be loaded correctly. I believe i have everything correct but the graphics seems very poor quality compared to a few days ago (before the format).

I dont know if it is relevant but when i go to install the Nvidia software, it just says that it cannot find relevant drivers and therefore setup will 'exit'. I could be wrong, but i am sure in the past that i have installed the Nvidia software with no problems.

Ok, so i right click Desktop and click Settings in Display Properties, i have listed -

1 - Plug & Play monitor on Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family
2 - (Default Monitor) on Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family

Does anyone know if that is correct? ? ?

The fonts in word, on the internet, etc... dont look as good as before either, not as sharp as before.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Gaz.

What Nvidia drivers you attempt to install, the latest? If yes, try some older version maybe Nvidia screw up again, it happened before. And another thing, try to remove the drivers windows has detected first, and then install the Nvidia driver.
One question. You don't have external monitor do you?
