    Hi

Does anyone out there have a copy of the eRecovery DVDs for the Acer Aspire 5634WLMi as Acer want to charge a hell of a lot of money to provide it.

I peformed a clean install of Windows XP Media Centre Edition 2005 and after doing this lost the ability to use the Alt+F10 function from the POST screen. I didn't make the system restore DVDs and I'm starting to regret it now.

I've downloaded and tried to install the eRecovery software from the Acer website to no avail.

If any of you can help I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Kenny.

    Hi

The hidden partition is still there.

I've read somewhere that I can use UBCD to assign a drive letter to this partition but then I thought it's maybe not the best idea in the world.

I've installed XP Media Centra and it's working just fine but wanted the backup DVDs just in case.

I have installed two versions of eRecovery from the Acer website but as soon as i try to run it I get a partition size error.
