This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    If something seems to good to be true, it usually is. There are quite a few sites on the net that advertise things at a ridiculous level below their competitors just to get you on the site and try to get your order. THen after you place the order they take your money, stall and stall, after a few months they'll cancel the order having had a tidy sum off your interest.

    If you are going to buy a laptop, don't get it off the cheapest. Get it from someone reliable and trustworthy. Too many cowboys out there.
