I purchased this computer last year on March 15,2006. It was fine until one year later, when the fan goes very loud, it wasnt like this before. Even when no tasks are running and I'm at the desktop, the fan is going crazy. My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium.

Can of air -> blow dust out
If that doesn't work then either you missed some dust or the fan's broke.

The fan is prolly clogged with dust and has to work extra hard to adequately cool the machine. So it's gonna be louder obviously. Either take the bottom off and clean out the fan or do as AAA said and use a can of air.

I would do the first tho, because you never know where the dust will go with the can of air, and you might end up doing more bad then good with it.
