    Hi all,

I can see on the forum this topic has been already touched back in 2007! I would like to know if I should follow the same advise reported here or a different one: http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/101829-word-warning-aspire-5670-5672-owners.html

I have a 5 years old Aspire 5671Wlmi with Windows 7 Ultimate installed (originally Windows XP Media Center), the CPU is a 1.6Gh "Core2" and is running continuously with temperatures around 70 ºC/80 ºC (158 ºF/176 ºF) which is keeping the fan cooler basically always on. A part of the noise I'm really afraid to fry the CPU one of these days.
From the link above I see that I should flash my CPU but what is the correct file I should download considering that Acer doesn't provide drivers for Aspire 5670 machines with Windows 7 on?

Hopefully you can help me soon!
