    Hello am i missing something like new version recover disk? in order to use recover dvd for xp pro they must already be partions on hard disk?

    or it fail with partion mismatch error?

    I am assuming here that you have the recovery partition intact,and have not deleted it. Now that being the case, you have to run the eRecovery tool to burn the DVD yourself. Acer will not give you any DVDs by default - all the information is in the system,and eRecovery will make the DVD for you. Once it's been made, you can use it to reset the notebook to the factory settings.

    Sorry for delay that not what i ment if it blank hard disk all partion are gone
    seem kind dumd that you have boot from cd or bootdisk remake the partion then run they recovery software it have format partions

    what gives with recover disk not remake the partions on drive like any other onther brand machine recovery disk
