Acer Aspire 5672WLMi driver needed

ati mobility radeon x1400 512mb

ive just bought this laptop when i got it the person i bought it from told me sometimes you need to reinstall the graphics driver for it to work alright,the screen went all messed up then back to normal,but when you scroll down the pages on the net it sort of flips over on its self and really slow went moving down the page.so i think i need to reinstall the graphics card driver,problem is how do i do this,i read on here that someone had said its on the recovery disc in the patch/vga folder ,i went to this folder vga but its empty,so any ideas how i can reinstall it,if not has anyone got the driver for this model x1400 512mb please,please,please as ive spend hours reading up and checking the acer web page with no luck,plus whats the best way to look after this model so it keeps running alright like is there any common problems which i should change or look out for thanks very much for taking your time to read this i look forward to the replies
