    Hi,

When I start the laptop, it gives continuous beep sound denoting some problem with keyboard. After a while, it does start and loads windows 7 (64bit). However, whatever document I open, it keeps continuously scrolling as if the "up" arrow is kept pressed.

some tries that I did are:
Removed the "up" arrow key from the keyboard, cleaned it and restarted. The beep sound at start up is now intermittent. I have also kept the key removed, because, the same problem is still there, so I need to tickle that key a bit.

Can anybody suggest a permanent solution to this. It is very irritating the see the document being scrolled in middle of reading it.

Is there any application or in-build function by which I can disable this "up" arrow key? I do have numeric pad with pageup/down keys, so can use them as alternative.
