    Hi,

I have an Acer Aspire 5736z running on Windows 7. There have been a few performance issues so I was attempting to restore to factory settings. However I cannot access the F10 Recovery Function.

The F10, 9, O keys are not working, so I cannot access the menu. (i have tried f10 on its own and Alt+f10 at boot menu. I also tried plugging in an external keyboard, however the laptop doesn't recognise the keyboard until its fully booted.

Foolishly I never made a recory disk. Does anyone know of another way that I can access the recovery partition without going through F10?

    Thank you.
